몸의 움직임을 매개로 인천의 세 공간을 연결한다. 세 공간은 실제로 먼 거리에 떨어져 있으며, 공간이 가진 특징 또한 모두 다르다. 우리는 배양접시 위에서 가능한 새로운 방식으로 공간에 대한 기억을 확장하고자 했다. 세 공간(A, B, C)을 걸었던 세 켤레의 신발 밑창에서 미생물을 채취해 하나의 배양접시에 모두 접종한다. 이때 4가지의 변형된 형태로 각 공간(신발) 마다 접종 위치와 움직임을 달리하여 총 4개의 배양접시 위에 접종한다. 이처럼 같은 매체에서 채취했지만, 배양접시에 접종하는 움직임의 차이를 통해 발현되는 변화를 관찰한다. 이는 언제나 변화를 전제하는 현재, 어떤 순간과도 같지 않으며 반복되지 않는 현재를 만들고자 하는 움직임이다.

Connecting three spaces in Incheon through body movement. The three spaces are actually separated by long distances and have different characteristics. We wanted to expand the memory of space in a new way that was possible on a petri dish. We collected microorganisms from the soles of three pairs of shoes that walked through the three spaces (A, B, and C) and inoculated them all into one petri dish. We inoculated a total of four petri dishes in four different variations, with different inoculation locations and movements for each space(shoe). In this way, we observe the changes that are expressed through the difference in the movement of inoculating the petri dishes, even though they are taken from the same sources. This is a movement to create a present that always presupposes change, a present that is not the same as any moment, and a present that is not repeated.

우리는 세 공간을 걸으며 사용한 세 켤레의 신발에서 각 공간에 대응하는 미생물을 채취했다. 그리고 이 미생물들을 공간과 마찬가지로 알파벳 대문자 기호로 지칭했다.

We collected the microorganisms corresponding to each space from the three pairs of shoes we used to walk through the three spaces, and referred to them with capitalized alphabetical symbols, just like the spaces.

떨어져 있는 세 공간을 배양접시 위에서 연결하기 위해 우리는 실제 공간 간 이동 경로와 주요 지점을 선과 점으로 시각화 했다. 이로부터 총 4가지 접종 방식을 고안했다.

To connect the three separated spaces on the petri dish, we visualized the actual inter-space movement paths and key points as sentencing points. From this, we devised four different inoculation schemes.

우리는 총 4개의 배양접시에 세 켤레의 신발에서 채취한 미생물을 모두 접종했다. 위에서 만든 4가지 접종 방식을 반영하였다. 다른 접종 움직임이 만들어낼 성장 과정과 발현 형태의 차이를 기록했다.

Each of the three spaces is an urban park, a residential area with many residents and visitors, and a factory complex adjacent to the sea.
